This week sure flew by. Somehow I managed to get unpacked, do a lot of revising on Fragments, and also get Translucid out to beta readers. My goal is to get Fragments through this first revision before the kids are home for the summer. Then I can get back beta feedback from readers and work on further revisions whenever the kids are occupied with camps or whatever. (Of course I also plan to write a short story for an anthology and make plans for a new book. So many irons in the fire, so little time.)
MarCon was fantastic last weekend. I shopped the dealer’s room, sat on panels, and even managed to attend a couple as an audience member–one about Star Trek, and another a chat with Seanan McGuire. Now, she is one hilarious speaker, so if you ever get the chance, I recommend attending one of her events. I met tons of people, made new friends, and even got an ego-boost when someone came to the con during my signing just to meet me. I did not manage to get to the gaming area, or stay up late enough to do more than a quick tour of the party floor. Next time, I hope!
Today, I am taking the kids to the dentist, and then the aquarium for some sharky fun, so wish us luck!
And of course, here’s the TBR (click the covers for links).
